Navigation Basics


The Holocentric Connect makes it easy for users to navigate and explore different components of the model. 

The model consists of 4 main tabs:

  1. Home Tab
  2. Operations Tab
  3. Governance Tab
  4. Documents Tab

1. Home Tab

This will be the landing page when you first sign in to the web app. The Home tab displays basic system details and information. 

From the Home tab, you can access the required reading list, pending changes in the model and list of glossary terms.


 This is the home page for your web app. Here, you will be able to access the welcome message and news items 


2. Operations Tab

Use the Operations tab to access your organisation's business procedures.  


2.1 Browse sub-tab

The Browse sub-tab view will show the processes that are relevant to the user role assigned to you. You have the option to browse the processes by Category, by Functions, by Stream, and also view the Work Instructions by Category.


2.2 Process Streams sub-tab

The processes that belong to a process stream are displayed in Stages


2.3 Processes sub-tab

The list view will show you a complete list of all processes available to your organisation. You can sort the process list view by process name, category, relevant roles and last edited date.


2.4 Work Instructions sub-tab

The list view will show you a complete list of all work instructions available in your organisation. You can sort and filter the work instructions by name, category, relevant roles, and last edited date.


2.5 Systems sub-tab

The list view will show you a complete list of all work instructions available in your organisation. You can sort and filter the work instructions by name, category, relevant roles, and last edited date.


3. Governance Tab

Use the Governance Tab to access policies, regulations, controls and risks within your organisation.


3.1 Policies sub-tab

The list view will show you a complete list of all policies available to your organisation. You can sort the policies list view by name, category, relevant roles and last edited date.


3.2 Regulation sub-tab

The list view will show you a complete list of all regulation available to your organisation. You can sort the regulations list view by name, category, relevant roles and last edited date.


3.3 Controls sub-tab

The list view will show you a complete list of all controls for mitigating risks in your organisation. You can sort the controls list view by name, risk mitigated, responsibility, and next review date.


3.4 Risks sub-tab

The list view will show you a complete list of all risks to your organisation. You can sort the controls list view by name, rating, rating with control, and next review date.


4. Documents Tab

Use the Documents tab to access your organisation's documents.

The list view will show you a complete list of all documents available to your organisation. You can sort the document list view by: document name, menu group, format, relevant to and last edited.  


5. Additional features

5.1 Search

The ability to search within the Connect model allows you to use keywords or phrases to quickly find relevant information within the system. To search, click on the magnifying glass and type the keyword or phrase. The system will rank the search results based on relevance.


5.2 Give Feedback

Click the Feedback button to send us feedback. 

You can select the type of feedback you wish to submit and add a comment before sending.


5.3 User Options

Click on your username to access the drop-down list of options for your account.
