What is RASCI?
RASCI is a responsibility assignment matrix that clarifies who does what in each process step. It helps organisations define clear accountability and avoid confusion about roles and responsibilities.
RASCI stands for:
- Responsible
- Accountable
- Supported
- Consulted
- Informed
Using RASCI in your processes ensures everyone understands their involvement, reduces duplication of effort, and creates clear lines of accountability for process execution.

When populating the steps for a process, you can select what roles or positions are interacting with the step.
Select if they are being Consulted, Informed, or Supported within this step.
You can view the list of all the roles and positions involved in the process from the RASCI tab.
